About Registration for LTRC Tap/Jazz
What does registration include?
The registration includes lessons for the entire dance season (approximately 30 weeks from Oct through the end of May), awards, certificates, and a small gift from our program. An additional costume deposit of $40.00 per class is due each fall (see Finances section for exact date).
Classes for younger dancers are 45 minutes -- but since more staff are required, these classes are the same price as a 1-hour class. All other non-Company classes are scheduled to be 1 hour (which is subject to change depending on class size).
Reminder: fees and waivers due!
All registration money must be paid and all registration waivers must be signed prior to the first class. Baltimore County policy will not allow your dancer to participate without signed waivers. Those dancers who still have a registration balance will receive an email from our Treasurers during the first week of class. If you owe money or need to sign a waiver, you can take care of it before class begins on the first day of class.
How do I secure my dancer's spot in a class?
In order to reserve your dancer’s spot in one or more classes, $230.00 deposit is due ($215 for additional siblings) with your registration form (the cost of one regular class). Again this is per DANCER, not per FAMILY. Your dancer will NOT be placed on any class list until deposit is received, the registration form is completed including waiver information and you have signed up and validated your account on rainedout.com. Keep in mind we have a very popular program and as many as 4 to 6 classes may be filled BEFORE our walk-in registrations. Please pre-register by mail to ensure the day and class time you or your dancer desires.
For dancers who take more than one class:
--The remaining registration balance must be received by the date of our last walk-in registration.
For dancers who audition for and are selected for Company and/or Hip-Hop Company.
--Payment in FULL is due prior to the first class. Dancers may hand check to instructors on the 1st day of class.
Dancers with an outstanding registration balance will NOT be permitted to attend class until paid in full. Additionally, if there is a waiting list, your dancer may lose his/her spot in the class to another student who is paid in full. However, we understand situations do occur outside of your control. If you have any concerns, please contact our Treasurer or Assistant Treasurers before the payment deadlines.
We must have a sufficient number of students to schedule a class.
