Kids' Production ("KP")
What is KP Practice? We will have a KP "Practice" for both the dancers and stage moms together so we can go over the staging and practice lining up so that the dress rehearsals run smoothly. There are 50+ involved in each KP.
What if my dancer/I can't make it?Please do your best to attend your KP "Practice" but it is not mandatory. This is different from the KP "Dress Rehearsal" that is mandatory.

About KIDS Production
(PreK - 4th Grade dancers)

ALL dancers in classes from Pre-K through 4th grade will perform in an additional routine in their recital called KIDS Production. The dancers in KIDS Production will learn the routine in class and will have up to three SHORT evening rehearsals depending on their age. Portions of the costume for KIDS Production will be created by the dancers; however, there will be an additional costume fee for the KIDS Production of $10 per dancer (due with the other costume deposits).
These special productions will be performed in the recitals held in May. Even though a KIDS Production will be in both recitals, your dancer will only participate in the recital that their regular classes are scheduled to perform. No additional class fees will be charged.

KIDS Production Rehearsal Schedule
The KIDS Production (ALL Pre - K through 4th grade dancers) will involve a few rehearsals. Dates will be published as soon as they are finalized, but likely will be in March, April and May. The dancers will learn the choreography for the recital routine for KIDS Production during their regular class times. The main purpose of rehearsing is to get the younger dancers used to dancing on a stage and to make our dress rehearsals run as smooth and quickly as possible.
We are limited as to the time we can use the schools, so we have more frequent, shorter rehearsals-- as opposed to fewer yet longer rehearsals. We appreciate your efforts to bring your dancers to these rehearsals.
Dancers will wear their pink ballet shoes or tan jazz shoes. If your dancer only takes Tap and does not have pink ballet shoes or tan jazz shoes, they can wear as close to white tennis shoes as possible.
